Newtsweek is a cooperative effort by all of the members of the staff. First, articles are written or compiled into mailing lists by our contributors. Then they are picked over and organized by Swantje Willms, who passes them over to Henryk Jaronowski, who turns them into the actual web ‘zine with Swantje’s design help. Johnathan Vail helps out with any Unix stuff we have to do and does all the general administration work. Newtsweek was started in the fall of 1996 by Johnathan Vail. The last update with JV as publisher happened during May of 1997. Near the end of July 1998, JV asked Henryk Jaronowski and Swantje Willms to become Co-Editors of Newtsweek and revive the idea. We all hope that this reincarnation of Newtsweek is as interesting as the first. |
